RESTORING PIECE: THE RE-PRESENTATION OF TOPICAL ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH IN THE LOWCOUNTRY

Research papers and scientific journals are full of valuable information, but are often inaccessible in their format and language to the everyday reader. “Restoring Piece” is an illustrated guide to the ecology and environment of the Lowcountry, focused on the incorporation of data from recently published scientific papers. My intent was to create a work that would be accessible and engaging, able to facilitate positive and dynamic interactions with all levels of science for the reader, no matter their age, academic background, or interests.
